Walk Walk Sunday- 04-27-2007- Review of parables

April 29, 2007 at 9:45 am Leave a comment

Memory verse for this week: “For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit,
which are God’s.” 1 CORINTHIANS 6:20

The parables seem easy to understand, but actually are very complex. It’s kind of like eating meat: you need to chew and chew and chew, and then take the time to digest the food before it really will nourish you. Last week we chewed and chewed and chewed on those parables to finally understand them. This week, we will review those parables we covered and give ourselves time to digest and meditate on God’s Word so that we may grow spiritually:

1) Parable of Wheat and Tares
2) Parable of the Treasure and the Pearl

Instructions for handouts:
If you are under 6 years old, print out page 3 and fill out that sheet.
If you are over 6 years old, print out page 5 and fill out that sheet.
Feel free to print and work on any of the other pages for fun.

Note: I will not be able to be at the review session. LD’s dad will sub for me and will review the parables with you guys.
